Renata Giacomini
He was born in Treviso in 1959 and graduated in architecture at the Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia I.U.A.V. in 1985. Founded in 1989, the Giacomini studio started working directly with the companies in the North East furniture business, Mimo, Twils, Giaiotti, IB Contract, Studio Smania Interni, Home’s Group, for coordinated Corporate image design, showrooms and exhibition equipment. For the Centro Sperimentale di Poggibonsi, coordinated 30 Tuscan companies for a hotel design in Jeddah. In Dubai for Moda Casa, designed the show room of made in Italy furniture. Since 2000 he began to be interested in the interior design of hotels collaborating with the Italian chain Fabbri Hotels, realizing in Verona and Reggio Emilia two 90-room hotels.
Among the recent design works: Hotel Ronchetto in Salgareda, Hotel Eurorest in Conegliano, the interior of some private residences, a cosmetic salon with Aveda products, the concept for a franchise for coffee shops in Italy for Kiribiri coffee, bar and shops.
In 2007 she hosted the Low Energy Room at Rho Pero in Milan, for the upgrading of existing hotels in an eco-efficient and sustainable way.
In 2008 she participates in the Sia Guest of Rimini with the project “Ristò km 0” for a restaurant that uses local and sustainable products.
The studio currently develops residences and business premises, hotels, showrooms, participates in public space design invitations, and is active in co-ordinated image projects.
