The modular barrier consists of a panel with a stylish diamond pattern made from steel plates, complemented by a handrail in stainless steel tubing for added strength and durability. The collection includes two modules: the terminal module (for beginning/end) and the composition module, which allows for customizable barrier layouts to fit any public space, combining functionality and distinctive design.
The architecture and design studio Staubach Kuckertz was founded in Berlin in 1995 by designer Prof. Helmut Staubach and architect Eng. Uwe Kuckertz. The combination of their two areas of expertise allows the studio to work on a wide range of projects: architecture, civil engineering, product design, graphic design, and scenography. The studio also has extensive experience in planning for the public transportation construction sector.
The completed projects cover a broad spectrum, from railway stations to urban transport system installations, as well as the design of public spaces and roofing systems. Urban furniture designed by Staubach Kuckertz can be found in many European cities and overseas.
