The waste bin, with a truncated pyramid shape, is made of painted steel, Inox, or Corten sheet metal and features a rainproof cover in cast aluminum with a lock and an integrated ashtray. The cover is available in four different colors for waste separation or in a monochromatic version. The bin includes sack rings along the inner perimeter, ensuring practicality and durability in public spaces.
Raffaele Lazzari was born in Castelfranco Veneto in 1979. He earned his degree in Industrial Design in Treviso at the Faculty of Design and Arts of IUAV. A versatile designer, his work ranges from graphic design to product design, from web design to interior installations, also creating furniture, lighting, and interior accessories.
In 2002, he joined Metalco, initially working in the technical department and later becoming the design coordinator, focusing on research and development of new products. In 2007, he was appointed head of the R&D department. Over the years, he has received numerous awards and recognitions, including an Honourable Mention at the XXI Compasso d’Oro ADI in 2008 for the Ghost litter bin.
