Darsena Waterfront Promenade

The Darsena Waterfront Promenade project in Ravenna transforms the waterfront into a linear park overlooking the water, where the pedestrian path runs along the quay and is complemented by green areas, rest spaces, and themed islands dedicated to relaxation, play, and outdoor physical activity.
The gradual reduction of the urban presence towards the movable bridge gives way to an increasingly natural landscape, enhancing both environmental quality and the enjoyment of public space.
The project is enriched by the installation of Metalco products, including chaise longues and the shade structure from the Alterego collection, Spencer litter bins, and Spyra bike racks.
Designer
Massimo Tasca
Massimo Tasca graduated from the IUAV University of Venice and began his professional career overseeing project development at Metalco, with a particular focus on the interaction between process and design. Massimo Tasca’s work highlights a meticulous attention to detail, particularly in the relationship between landscape and urban design, which is a crucial phase in the development of urban furniture products.
