Macrolotto Zero
Metalco products were chosen to be included in the urban redevelopment project of the Macrolotto Zero of the city of Prato, PIU (Urban Innovation Project).
The project involved the construction of various structures and a multifunctional playground, and it is within the latter that the modular seats ANASTASIO, MAKATITE were inserted. The two modular collections were used as stand-alone elements, their simple and linear style married perfectly with the design of the park, very geometric and defined.
Inside the park there is also a green area with trees, in which the modular seats of the TREE LINE collection were positioned, which, thanks to their organic shape, recall the branches of a tree. Thus creating a contrast between the organic and natural shapes of the trees and the mathematical geometry of the rest of the park.
Macrolotto Zero is an area of the city of Prato, in Tuscany (Italy), which occupies approximately 44 hectares of surface and is located near the historic center of the city. Prato is the second city in Tuscany by population after Florence. Until 1992 it was the most populous non-provincial capital municipality in Italy.
