The seating collection, with or without a backrest, features a distinctive elongated rhomboid shape that evokes an isometric view. Made of HPC (High Performance Concrete) with a smooth formwork finish, the seats can be combined with one another to create linear or star-shaped compositions.
Giulio Iacchetti has been working in industrial design since 1992 and collaborates with brands such as Abet Laminati, Alessi, Bross, Danese, Casamania, Fontana Arte, Foscarini, Magis, Meritalia, and Moleskine. He is the curator of exhibitions that stem from reflections on design themes, such as the cross-themed exhibition Cruciale, which was held in Milan, Rome, and Enna, and the food design exhibition Reazione K, produced by the Triennale di Milano in 2015.
The renowned designer has won two Compasso d’Oro awards: the first in 2001 for the biodegradable multi-use cutlery “Moscardino,” now on display at the MOMA in New York, and the second in 2014 for the Sfera series of manhole covers designed for Montini. In 2009, he was awarded the Premio dei Premi for innovation by the President of the Italian Republic for the Eureka Coop project, which introduced design into large-scale distribution.
