This collection of canopies combines elegance and functionality, offering durable and stylish protection for public spaces. Made with load-bearing steel columns and base plates, a solid monolithic top frame supporting the roof, and a back wall made of laminated and tempered glass panels, this canopy is an ideal choice for modern urban shelters. The structure is designed to accommodate an information display case and can be completed with a backless bench for added comfort, as well as an integrated LED lighting system for safe use even during the evening hours. The architecture and design studio Staubach Kuckertz was founded in Berlin in 1995 by designer Prof. Helmut Staubach and architect Eng. Uwe Kuckertz. The combination of their two areas of expertise allows the studio to work on a wide range of projects: architecture, civil engineering, product design, graphic design, and scenography. The studio also has extensive experience in planning for the public transportation construction sector.
The completed projects cover a broad spectrum, from railway stations to urban transport system installations, as well as the design of public spaces and roofing systems. Urban furniture designed by Staubach Kuckertz can be found in many European cities and overseas.
