Antonio Citterio

Meda, 1950

Antonio Citterio was born in Meda in 1950 and graduated from the Politecnico di Milano. A world-renowned figure in industrial design, he currently collaborates with both Italian and international companies, including Albatros, Axor, Hansgrohe, Flexform, B&B Italia, Guzzini, Inda, Kartell, and Pozzi Ginori. In 1999, Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel founded “Antonio Citterio e Partners,” a multidisciplinary design studio for architecture, design, and graphics.

The studio develops projects for residential and commercial complexes, public building renovations, and designs workspaces such as offices, showrooms, and hotels. Recent works include the Edel Music headquarters, the R&D center for B&B Italia, the Bulgari Hotel in Milan, and the design for the pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline’s headquarters in Verona.
