Metalco marked its presence at Milan Design Week with the installation of twelve modular “Isometric Chair” seats, designed by Giulio Iacchetti, in the gardens of the Rovati Foundation.
Made of HPC, the seats allow for various configurations, including benches and multiple seats.
Furthermore, their distinctive square geometry contrasts sharply with the sinuous, soft lines of the natural setting in which they will be placed: some Isometric chairs are positioned at the top of the three protuberances that characterize the Foundation’s green area, establishing a silent dialogue with nature.
Others, however, are located along the pedestrian paths and are accessible to visitors.
The Luigi Rovati Foundation, located in Milan, is a cultural center that unites art, archaeology, and research. Housed in an elegant historic building, the foundation preserves a prestigious Etruscan collection, displayed in an evocative underground museum space. Alongside ancient artifacts, modern and contemporary art are displayed, creating a dialogue between different eras. With exhibitions, events, and outreach activities, the Rovati Foundation is a hub for culture lovers in the heart of Milan.
