Acibadem Ataşehir is the 18th hospital built by Acibadem Healthcare Group in Turkey and the 24th worldwide. Acibadem clinics are located in Turkey, where the Group is headquartered, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Serbia and the Netherlands.
The hospital, inaugurated on September 1, 2022, has 300 beds and is structured to provide high-level services in all branches of medicine. Acibadem Ataşehir includes a pediatric clinic in a building next to the hospital, which provides comprehensive pediatric services 24 hours a day.
The facilities that make up the complex are state-of-the-art in terms of environmental sustainability, controlled by an AI capable of regulating energy consumption in order to reduce waste to 0. This is attested by the Leed Gold certification, one of the highest in the world in terms of environmental sustainability.
The hospital complex extends over a total area of 94,000 sqm, of which 65,000 are indoors. The outdoor area, of almost 30,000 sqm, has areas dedicated to children, with games and rides; cafes and various seats where patients and visitors can linger.
The impeccable design, both inside and outside, of the complex was completed by the installation of more than 400 products that reflect the attention paid to image and functionality. For this reason, the products of the Italian company Metalco srl were chosen, which for more than 40 years has been producing and exporting high-end designer street furniture, made with innovative and sustainable materials.
The outdoor space thus becomes a welcoming place and not cold and aseptic, but full of meeting places and color.
