The Staubach + Kuckertz architect and design studio was founded in Berlin in January 1995 by designer Prof. Helmut Staubach and architect Dipl.-Ing. Uwe Kuckertz. The interaction between these two disciplines opens up a broad spectrum of projects of varying types and working depths to the studio: architecture, civil engineering, product design, graphic design and set design. The studio has particularly extensive experience in nationwide planning in the construction sector for public transport. The range of completed projects vary from regional railway stations to commuter railway constructions and from technical and working equipment, technical and personnel buildings, city square designs to shelter systems. The street furniture designed by Staubach + Kuckertz can be found in many cities around Europe and overseas. Complete ranges of street furniture have been designed for the cities of Düsseldorf, Berlin, Cairo, Ulm, Kaiserslautern, Naples and others, and have entered into the production process. Staubach + Kuckertz furniture and products for parks, gardens, kitchens, swimming pools, restaurants, hotels and the private sector are sold all around the world. The studio has successfully taken part in many competitions and has won design awards in Germany and Italy.
